IT’S OK
TO NOT BE OK
/ National Alliance on Mental Illness
Josh Wolf is a suicide survivor turned Kona Ironman and mental health advocate. He discovered purpose and hope through endurance sports, only to have that foundation abruptly shattered when a truck struck him during a training ride. Yet, through every setback, his path forward—both mentally and physically—remains the same: one more hour, one more day, one more step, one more pedal stroke.

Director’s Statement - ‘It's OK to not be OK’ is about the shared connection between sports and mental health, told through a suicide survivor turned Kona Ironman. As mental health and suicide prevention are slowly becoming more recognized, my hope is that this film further tears down stigmas and brings attention to the subject. This story resonated so much with me from the get go, and it was really rewarding to produce a passion project that I hope will have a real impact.
